new trailer has me all giddy. I actually clapped when I first watched it, which I quickly realized is silly because I'm alone in a room late at night by myself, but whatever. I love this series.

Definitely looks good. Though I still have to play the first two games. Own em both and haven't touched either. :/

I wondered if this would be released on the DRM-laden Xbox One and found an article that answered that question...

Just get it on PC.
I love this series as well and can't wait to get it and play. The last game got me super interested in the world and the Wild Hunt, so can't wait to see where they take this.

Since I don't plan on getting Xbone or PS4 I need to beef up my PC for Witcher 3 (and Witcher 2 for that matter lol), new Dragon Age, etc...

I'm really excited, but I'm interested in how the choices from the last game will be brought over for those who didn't play Witcher 2. The choices there hugely affect the world, so I feel some form of comic or choices questioning needs to be done.
And now that I've completed the game, I reeeaaally want to know how things are going to be brought over, or if they will be done in Witcher 2 fashion, where your choices don't really affect much. I never played the first game, due to it being PC only and having that annoying combat style. I am definitely interested in how the new combat will work.

It's been delayed until 2015. Shame, it was one of the titles that had me considering getting a PS4 or PC upgrade this year.

When I get home I need to send them my Steam receipt for Witcher 1 so I can get it as a backup copy on my GOG account and get the extra 5% off the preorder. Apparently the CD key you can fetch from the Steam client is not seen as valid (and their validation tool specifically has a Steam receipt screenshot for their example).
