I - unlike most people on this forum - actually enjoyed FFII (GBA) quite a bit. (I can see how it would have been intolerable on the NES, however.) Spend some time leveling your party on the penninsula south of Altair, and you should breeze through most of the game. (I thought that the unique leveling system made grinding a bit more fun than usual...)

I have not played through the extra GBA content, however, and I hope to go back to it at some point.

I've been playing a lot of Persona 4: Golden for the Vita. I love it so far, but I'm worried I'm eventually going to get to a point where I can't continue. I barely saved Rise and survived the alternate Teddie. I think I need to level more in the TV world before I have to save someone else.

Have you started the Hierophant social link yet? Doing so will let you restore your SP in the dungeon for a fee, and advancing the s.link reduces the fee. Aside from that, if you're really having trouble making it through you can grind in a previous dungeon; your much higher levels means that you should be able to blow through without using much in the way of resources, and that will build up your money (for SP restore) and recovery items. That way you can spend more time in the current dungeon to gain levels. I'd also recommend regularly upgrading your personas (which have the biggest impact on how you do) and clear every floor in a dungeon to maximize XP gain.

The Hierophant one is the fox right? I have, but he seems really expensive and advancing the social link for him seems difficult. I accepted the ema request, but have yet to figure out who to talk to, to advance it futher.

Yeah I think I need to do the Persona fusion more, especially after finding out what some of the weakness are in each dungeon.

It's useful to have multiple hit-all magic attacks, due to the changes that were made to the One More system in Persona 4. As long as you hit weakness on a single enemy you get another turn, even if all the other enemies are immune/absorb/repel. I found dungeon crawling to be the easiest when I could finish every battle using just my MC to trigger an all-out attack, which gives me Shuffle Time. It's good to try and keep a shuffle bonus going as well, and snag cup cards to keep your SP up.

And tonight, I have finished Final Fantasy II. The Emperor isn't that hard, considering I used Beserk on Firion, Guy, and Leon. Using the Blood Sword helps too.

You should play FFIII (NES) now. The final dungeons(S) is like 10 hours long, it's hilarious. Go through a dungeon to get to the final dungeon that consists of three entirely different huge portions one leading up to the finally final dungeon of final dungeons and CLOUD OF DARKNESS!

And six year old kids saved the world!

I got pretty far on the FF3 Rom years ago. I have the DS version, but I'm gonna hold off on that for now.
