I'd say definitely start with Demon's Souls. No reason not to really. Maybe even look into King's Field and Shadow Tower... not sure if you'd be able to get into them though. It's an awesome journey to play through all of From's RPGs and watch the games and their grasp on the genre evolve.

I would offer to help with Demon's Souls but I don't have the NA release which I'm assuming is what you'll get, so we wouldn't be able to do co-op. I know the games and how difficult they are is talked up a lot, but really be prepared for some brutality. I mean it's not insurmountable, but playing through the games solo is rough.

Haven't got the platinum for Dark Souls yet but I should be able to get it with like 20-30 more hours.

I can't find a demons souls topic in the search function (3 pages of lets name threads popped up and I said fuck it) but I just read on destuctoid that the servers are officially going offline on may 31st of this year.

So everyone should play it and finish it at least once before then. Also I just realized my brother took my copy to let his friend borrow it so it looks like I need to get another copy and beat up my brother.

Yes. Get a new copy. Beat your brother up with the new copy as a blunt instrument. Then play the new and old copies at the same time.

You will then have reached Demon's Souls nirvana.

this is my GOTY for 2011....love the game a ton...I'm still playing it trying to get the bigger trophies for my ps3 copy, working on all the sorceries as we speak and switching off between my 3 characters on new game+. If anyone ever needs help with a boss or area post here and I'll try to get a summon sign down to help!

Good news and bad news guys. The good news is the extra content of the PC version is coming to console.

The bad news is that it will be 15 dollars or some amount of points for you xbox folks.

I'm willing to give From as many monies as they desire, best fucking developers out there at the moment. I'm pretty stoked that I'm not gonna have to buy the PC game to see the new content though, so hell yeah.

Yea I'm getting this day one for sure myself. I want to start getting more of their games now to see what else they've done.

Oh yea I forgot the other news that is good. The game is coming out on steam and won't be using games for windows live since PC gamers are worse then mass effect fans in their whining.
