The articles I've read on this seem pretty certain it's a spinoff and not a port. It makes sense. Mistwalker never promised unending devotion to the 360, and once this and Lost Odyssey are out I expect Mistwalker to move on. Unless Microsoft experiences a miracle in Japan that is.

I've seen videos of Lost Odyssey, by the way, and it looks unbelievable.

I would assume its a spinoff as well. A 360-to-DS port would be pretty impractical.

Didn't mistwalker have a DS game in the works already ? Haven't heard anything in a while was called
