Does anyone know if the translation project is still underway? With all the time that they've spent on it, I'd hate to see it dead in the water, but the year of no blog updates is worrisome.

don't know. There was all kinds of excitemet in April 2011 when Racket interviewed them and it sounded like it was going to be done soon. And then I feel like they just stopped updating their blog again. :\
