I think I found out about Yoshitaka Azuma from Classic Gaming Quarterly's "Launch of the Sega Saturn" documentary on YouTube. I really liked his work in Panzer Dragoon's otherworldly synth soundtrack, so it intrigued me to learn he made even more music that conveying that same atmosphere. To me it sounds kind of like 80's sci-fi synth like the soundtrack to Blade Runner, but with more of a traditional Eastern influence.

Awesome find! I love discovering stuff like this. The music on those games is incredible and it's cool this is a similar style.
I keep wondering if Spencer Nilsen has released some albums in the vein of his Sega CD soundtracks (Sonic CD, Ecco the Dolphin and Tides, etc)
