Re: How is your Sega CD gaming going?
I played through the Sega CD version of Wing Commander as part of my recent Wing Commander kick just because I'd never played through the whole thing on this platform before. The slowdown was horrendous at times but overall it's a really solid port and the Saturday morning cartoon level voice acting (the unmistakable Cam Clarke voices the Colonel) was fun.
I always thought it included the Secret Missions packs, but it doesn't. The manual has bios for the new pilots from Secret Missions 2 for no apparent reason.

Not really a beat-'em-up fan, but I always tend to make some time for Final Fight CD.
The game is fun playing alone, and even better in Co-op mode.
Oh, and BTW,
Only took me close to 8 years to get there.

Re: How is your Sega CD gaming going?
I always seem to go back to the sega cd everytime i collect. This will be the 3rd time i have tried to complete snatcher. Hopefully on my next vacation i can sit and give it the attention i want to give it.
Side note, after 8? Years of collecting i finally found a cripsy CIB sega cdx...what a weird joy to have over a hunk of plastic. But feels good to finally have one CIB

Not weird at all.
It's a cool little unit.
Also neat is the fact that the Power Base Converter can fit on it, and the 32X is also fully functional with it.
With regard to the latter, it has the advantage over the X'Eye in that even with the 32X attached, there's still enough space to open the CD lid in order to swap out your CD based games.

yep - that's the only reason I'd really ever consider replacing my X'Eye.

I am video game hunting in Asheville, NC this weekend. I picked up a CIB copy of Eternal Champions for the Sega CD yesterday for $10. The manual for that game is practically a novella!
