Played a bit more.. Image just seems almost over colored.. If that makes any sense. Lots of rainbow colors in the pipes in the chemical level of sonic 2

The Genesis is notorious for having poor quality video output. It's a hallmark of the device. It's like the exact opposite of the PC Engine in that regard.

Yea, I know. I just .. when i get something "new" and notice a problem i NEED to find out if its normal or just they way it is. Guess i'll have to wait another 5 years till i find another to compare! haha

No idea what version of the Genesis is being used in the video but it's nice to the the same thing on another console.

I have the same problem with my VA4 Model 2 Genesis. Though, it never really bothered me. It's one of those things you really notice on pause/still screens.

I have a 32x as well that I use. I need to see if I notice the rainbow banding on a pause screen. However, with my 32x, I get some image interference, which also doesn't really bother me other than when I'm on my Everdrive menu screen.
