VGA box. Bought mine for about 15 bucks off Amazon. Works great. Hook a DC VGA cable into the box from the DC, plug in the box to the power outlet and then HDMI from the box to the TV.

And an HDMI cord.

I made an error on the box I posted. You want one with composite on one side so you can get audio. My bad. Amazon no longer sells the one I bought last year.

Kickstarter ends Friday, but the demo was released for everyone to play.
Now that I played it I think I really am going to back it.

Good news for Dreamcast users: now you can try the Intrepid Izzy demo too!
Download it here:

I haven't tried the demo, but it looks pretty interesting, from the trailer. I'm considering dropping some money on the Dreamcast Collector tier.

Lolwut? Wrong thread? Zak and Wiki is a great game though, by the way.

Any new decent Dreamcast games coming out soon? It feels like there was a lot, but they all seem to have been quietly delayed.

Played a bit of Shenmue 2 this weekend, finished Disc 1 and up to the beginning of Disc 2, where you are given the task of moving the books. I purchased this game when it came out, but never finished it ... hoping to within the next few months.

Also, I was about to play co-op Dynamite Cop and it seems that my second Dreamcast controller (only have 2 at the moment) died ... wasn't responsive at all. I believe I plugged it into the first port and it still didn't work. I'm gonna have to do some more testing, as it could also be the control port failure issue, which I hadn't heard of before but seems to be a common problem with the console. I hope it's just the controller though. Going to purchase another controller, and see if I have any luck.

I am wondering if there anything maintenance related I should do with my Dreamcast. Its about 19 years old now and is there any belt changes or greases I should reapply? Not sure if that CD drive will still spin no problems
