I have the instructions for a 32X and was indeed aware of that part...but...
I almost doubt the existence of the CDX spacer.
Has anyone actually seen one, like in real life or on an auction?

I would not be surprised if they included it in the booklet and ran out of time to produce the CDX spacer.

I wouldn't normally do that to a CDX unit anyways; it would ruin the sleek/small/portable look to it. But then, I don't really do the "32X CD" anyways; with no exclusives (and weird and small selection of games) they are just fine as individual systems.
On a semi-related topic: Does anyone know if the Sega emulator for Xbox plays "32X CD" games? I know it can do CD and 32X (some of them) games separately. If so, I might actually give Night Trap another shot.
