Best Saturn/Dreamcast Multiplayer (3-4 player) Games

Post by rattboi »

I'm starting to do this party night once a week at the college using their projectors, and I also just recently moved in with 4(!) other people, so I'm in a good position to play some good 3-4 multiplayer games.

I don't care about genre or whatever. I just want everyone's opinion as to what are really good games for Saturn and Dreamcast.

It really is a shame how Dreamcast has so few 3-4 player titles. Those last 2 ports go to waste. Seriously, what did we get besides Powerstones, Ooga Booga, Gauntlet Legends....um...drawing a blank here.

Unreal tournament is a pretty cool pc port. It plays well for only one analog stick, looks nice too.
And Chu Chu rocket is a great choice.

That's right. Good suggestions. Both Worms on DC are absolutely worthless in single player (due to strange ultra wait-times when CPU worms get their turn), but they are just perfect in multiplayer.

On the Saturn, Three Dirty Dwarves. The game is WAY too hard single player, but with 2 or 3 players it rocks. It's effectively a hilarious side-scroller and supports up to 3PS.

And multi taps, and probably 8 more good controllers (seeing how most Saturn owners will only have two good ones at a given time), a big room with a lot of seats and a good sized TV or projector screen.
