know any great underplayed genesis games?

Post by grittykitty »

i'm wondering if there's any underplayed genesis games that anyone finds really great. i'm talking about games we don't see popping up on retro game site lists :D

crap i lost my train of though... i had a couple in mind but forgot them. help me remember! one game i really liked was a helicopter game flying through the city... similar to f-1 race (the old school one, ported to nes) and afterburner. this was a game i got with my genesis for xmas back in 91 but i can't remember the game...

...oh yeah, underplayed games...

Cyborg Justice -
It's actually a lot of fun once you get the controls down.

Midnight Resistance -
Port of the arcade game that is a 'blast' to play. It also has some good music.

Thunder Force 4 (Known as Lightening Force here in the states) -
I hear a lot about Thunder Force 3 but I don't hear quite as much about this game for some reason... maybe it was the name change? Anyways, it's a great, inexpensive shooter that I don't think enough people are aware of. It also comes with great music at NO extra charge. :)

Uhh... yeah.. thats about all I can remember... for now.

nothing is as good as yo noid. I love that game!

But on genesis, I really love the first x-men game. I remember playing it at my cousin's house when I was only 4 or 5.

jemsic was probably barely born in the 80s because that game came out in 93 according to gamefaqs. I'm starting to feel really old too... I've been playing Street Fighter II since turbo came out on SNES when I was 11...

Yea, I was born in 87. So I must've been 5 because I moved to florida on my sixth birthday - never visited them again till I was a teenager.
