October, 1995, a portable was born. Share your Nomad memories, good or bad. Also, if you're able to post a photo of your Nomad, please do! 8)

Nice! My Nomad will be in my hands on the 10th, I can't wait.

Good on you for keeping those screens in good shape. When I went to Game Core 2009, there were a large number of scuffed and cracked Nomads. Made me shed a tear.

The Game Gear travel case was my case of choice for Nomad transporting. In fact, I didn't own a Game gear until a year after buying the travel case.

Yeah I always try and keep my stuff in good working order. Those screens are mostly in very good nick.
I've also got custom made carry cases for both, the only thing I still need is to get a battery pack for the unit to the left of the pic. It works fine off of the AC adapter but then that's not the point of a portable system.

I've got two Nomads that I've had since I was a kid, I freaking loved to play Bloodlines on airplanes. My brother and I got into an argument once and he threw one to the floor. Now I have one Nomad and one Nomad with a cracked screen.

My memories of Nomad are bitter sweet.

I just recently got a Sega Nomad earlier this year to add to my systems collection and it is a fun portable system. I played it years ago but never owned one till now. Happy 14th Anniversary Sega Nomad!! 8)

Fitting, considering the Nomad began as an in-flight gaming system called the Mega Jet.

Lately I've been putting on psp or ds lite protective screens on all of my portables to prevent scratches on the screens.

This thread makes me want a nomad even more, nice pics except for that weird last one.
