List Games That You Think Are Hidden Gems For The Genesis/MD

Post by racketboy »

I'm getting ready to put together a contest for the site, but in preparation, I would like everybody to list games that they think are excellent, but haven't received the recognition they deserve (chose 1 to 10 games that haven't been listed yet).

Please post the titles below and once the contest kicks off, you will have an opportunity to tell why the games are deserving in order to have a chance at winning some great prizes.

Here's the list so far:
Rocket Knight Adventures
Herzog Zwei
Shadowrun
Aerobiz Supersonic
Skitchin'
General Chaos
Comix Zone
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Beyond Oasis
Sub-Terrania
Landstalker
Ristar
Dynamite Headdy
Mystic Defender
Lost Vikings
Cool Spot
Tyrants
Beggar Prince

Enter the contest here:

as a kid i really enjoyed general chaos and skitchin. general chaos is a 4 player game, choose your soldiers (with different weapons) and fight til the death. fun fun! skitchin was like a more modernized road rash, which i always enjoyed more because of the different weapons and the jumpramps on the road that let you go flying an do aerial tricks. good stuff

1.Landstalker was good I just got it recently, and I've never seen it before, so I'll assume it's "hidden."
2.Ristar is hidden to average game player. Most Sega fans and even most Hardcore retro gamers may have heard of it, but most of them probably never played it. I played it, but only in I think in a sonic collection for gamecube.

Anyway, just to save me for now, everything I've said in this post is IMO, so don't hold anything against me too much.

Every thing except for columns is awesome.
