DC Ascii Fight Pad
I just got one of these and I am wondering who else has one?
It seems to work great for fighting games, but not for nester dc... I thought the two extra buttons would be L and R?
Anyone else notice this?

where did you get yours? Im looking
Also, I don't understand your question. I had heard that the L and R triggers are remapped to the face.

Ebay... $20 - good deal huh.
There are 2 extra buttons, C and Z, but they dont seem to be equivalent to L and R trigger since they do not work in Nester DC (the L and R is used to return to the menu). The question is whether or not those buttons (C,Z) will work as the L and R triggers.

does your extra buttons work as the L & R, mine do not seem to. I have the Gray non special edition one.
Edit: I just tried the controller with Skies of Arcadia and the extra buttons are not recognized. This pad can only be used for fighting games - not only is the analog stick missing, but thr L & R too.

Are there any fighters that this won't work with?

every fighter Ive used it for recognizes the extra buttons and it works fine... so I would say it works with all fighters except the emulated ones.

Thanks for the info.
Re: DC Ascii Fight Pad
OK, I want to post a related question to the CD ASCII Fight pad instead of starting a separate one.
I just got mine today in the mail, and went through SoulCalibur and SFIII: 3rd Strike, the controls for each game feels much better than the standard DC controller; however when I turned on the vibration for the controller, it sets off some input errors such as in-game stop (like Start for SFIII), or memory card misread (at times during SC).
Anyone aware of this?

OK,
Back to this topic, yesterday I booted the DC without turning the vibration "on" on the ASCII fight pad, and I switch it on while playing the games, which gave me the problems.
But today I booted the DC with the vibration "on" before loading any games, and so far everything works - SC instantly recognize vibration "on" in the Options menu.
