Re: Can anyone help me with ez flash iv problem?

1st no I am using a mini sd card, not a high density card, 2nd I did make a folder and placed all the GBA roms in it, I only had 26 roms in it. I set up a different mini sd card with only the operating software and 1 rom, Mario Kart super circuit just like I had it originally when it worked and stil...

Can anyone help me with ez flash iv problem?

Got an ez flash iv, downloaded the software kernel and flash for it, put Mario kart super circuit on it. It worked great, so I decided to put some more games on it, did that and now it freezes on the health warning screen (using this on a ds). So I put the exact same set up with Mario kart super cir...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"

Picked up a blue Official Nintendo N64 controller today at a little thrift shop, price tag said 2 so I assumed 2 bucks and thought "not too bad" as it looks really good and feels tight, got to the checkout counter and it rang up .29 cents, was .32 cents with tax!! Then I found a green tran...

Re: Hardware Vs Emulators

Anybody here got one of those things that you have to share a house with, oh yeah, a wife!! Yeah nothing they like better than a bunch of old consoles, a bunch of cartridges, miles of spaghetti cords and controllers! This alone is 1 valid argument for emulation, 1 or 2 consoles, emulate all of the o...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"

you kinda got ripped paying $5 for metroid prime. that's probably the most common GC game ever. nice finds on the green n64 and all that. good box. OK I didn't know the Metroid Prime for the Cube was so cheap, guess you win some and ya lose some. My luck is if I don't get something I always end up ...

What good deals have you scored lately?

So what good deals, related to retro gaming of course, have you scored lately? Me, I picked up an N64 with 2 controllers, memory expansion pack and 2 games(Starfox 64 and Super Mario 64) for a grand total of $20 bucks! This was found on craigslist and everything works great and looks new. Also went ...

Re: Why??

It's last gen's tech. Too common to be expensive. Too new to be nostalgic. Buy now or you'll regret later. Well said. Get the GC GBA while you can too, 10 bucks at Gamestop. Do you mean the Gameboy player for the Gamecube or something different? I got the player already. I took advantage of the opp...

Why is the Gamecube cheaper than N64/SNES/NES?

Why is the Gamecube cheaper to buy than the N64, SNES or NES?? Is it just because the other systems are older, that would almost be a reason they should be cheaper than the Gamecube. Check out Ebay or even local ads and shops. I picked up a GameCube the other day for $15 dollars with 1 controller, a...

Re: Help with SNES Roms

Unless the R4i has built-in emulators, you'd need to download the SNES emu for DS. IIRC, Snemul doesn't support FX chip nor DSP so even if you downloaded it, you can't play them. Yes I have the SNemul for it and the other roms work. So you are saying that those two roms will not work because it doe...
