Re: Is there a cfw or downgrade for a psp with ofw 6.37

I just noticed over at Bitgamer they have quite a few signed PSP games. Apparently there is a size restriction to this, so bigger games have had stuff (languages, videos) ripped out. I'm sure lots of games are unsignable right now. The point is you can play them on OFW 6.37 (right from the XMB, no I...

Re: Is there a cfw or downgrade for a psp with ofw 6.37

No downgrade option, YET. Little Brother needs to be taught that upgrading someone else's firmware is a BIG NO-NO, on any system ever. Your options are: 1.) Go find signed hombrew. Google will lead you right to a lot of it. 2.) Learn how to sign unsigned EBOOT.PBP files. It's pretty easy, but not ev...

Re: What is the Best PSP Model for Emulation/Homebrew

Right now, the only thing you miss out on with a HEN (Homebrew ENabler) instead of real CFW is the 10 seconds it takes to run the signed HEN (after each boot, but no savegame or demo exploit nonsense), and the ability to use the good PS1 emulator, popsloader. The upcoming HEN TN-D from Total_Noob is...

Re: Hook ups and consloe set up

Isn't the Flame Meister going to be several hundred dollars?

Those Belfan SCART -> HDMI adapters are $50-60. Is their performance really bad? Google isn't giving me anything.

Re: Your top 6 favorite SEGA games.

I'll stick to Sega games on Sega consoles

Christmas NiGHTS
Virtua Fighter 2
Cosmic Smash
Outrun
Shining Force 3
Sega Rally

EDIT: Panzer Dragoon Zwei or Space Channel 5 could be in there if I were in a different mood.

Re: Hook ups and consloe set up

This is a subject that has been unclear to me for a while. I recently made the step up to a plasma from my old CRT and was annoyed by the lack of S-video inputs on most models. It sucks because component isn't available for the 32-bit and earlier systems. The Dreamcast still shines with VGA (grabbed...

OK imagine a centered analog joystick You can push it in any direction, and in that direction you can push it from center out to the edge. The Saturn 3d pad made it difficult to input how far from the center to edge you wanted to push it, but it was very smooth at changing directions. The PS2 pad is...

I've never seen any adapter able to use the Saturn analog stick on any system. Look at it this way, the Saturn has to have some advantage to maintain the mystique. Just like Tempest 2000 may have looked better on the Playstation, but you have to have a real Jaguar if you want to use the best control...

PS2 Sega Ages NiGHTS Into Dreams

So within a couple months of each other, Sega will have released something I never wanted to exist, on a console I don't own (less than stellar NiGHTS sequel on Wii) and what I always wanted on a console I do own (original NiGHTS & Christmas NiGHTS on PS2). 1.) I hope this site has some major N...

Do NOT forget NEC systems! Turbografx/PC-Engine and relatives are some of the coolest systems. One of the best things about Nintendo and Sega is their first-party software and other exclusives. Hudson made some great games for the NEC consoles. The TG-16 was the Saturn of the previous ("16-bit&...
