Re: TEKTORO's collection part 1 (will post more)

Not too great actually. Play it a bit and have to say, they is a lot of stuff that either have to get cut or decrease the quality to fit into the GBA. I would recommend either the PS1 or the PSP version. Ah. Yeah, I've played the PSP version for a few hours last year. I was traveling for six months...

Great collection. I didn't know that Lunar came out on GBA. How does it stack up to the other versions?

Re: Games you bought brand new and regretted

I loved FFXIII and MvC3. I would probably say the only game I've really regretted buying was FIFA 10. It's a great game, I just greatly overestimated how much soccer I would really wanna play. And I bought it pretty soon after it came out, so it was pricey. I dodged a bullet with Little Big Planet 2...

Re: Good fighting game for an inexperienced fighting gamer?

The games that got me into fighting games were Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6. I found they were both so well-made that they weren't too intimidating. SFIV especially has been made to be really beginner friendly on the lower difficulties. There are a lot of easy attacks to pull off that will slowly ...

They review games according to several accessibility criteria (if they're playable by deaf, colorblind, one-handed and motor-impaired people).

This is awesome, thank you for the link. I'm colourblind, and sometimes I have a lot of trouble with certain games.

Re: The problem with "art"

I find the whole questioning of art to be so futile and harmful. I ran into it a lot while taking comics classes in university - we'd get into conversations of 'high art' v. 'low art,' which bored the living shit out of me. In the end, it means nothing whether something is art or not. I just call ev...

I don't know if you can call Harvester 'so bad it's good,' since it's clearly written to be hilarious anyways. The unnatural staging and bizarre effects of early fmv just make it that much more amazing though.

That's fantastic. I'm kinda jealous.

You made a typo on your Daikatana label. Though I'm sure that's not in heavy rotation anyways.

Re: Game you LOVE that everyone else HATES

I really enjoyed The Last Rebellion on ps3. I certainly didn't think it was amazing, but I liked the Battle System a lot. People hated it and just slogged through it for the trophies I think. In terms of old games, I loved Pictionary for the NES as a kid, and I still make my friends play it sometimes.
