Re: The late, great Gunstar Green

I am incredibly sad to hear about this. I never did the Slack/Discord thing much but Gunstar and I exchanged plenty of PM's about gaming, old and new, Star Wars, movies, obscure mecha anime, and he was always such a joy to talk to and well versed on all of his hobbies and interests. I felt like I co...

https://i.imgur.com/C0SzeKP.png 62. Tomb Raider (PSX) 12h05m* I've always joked to others that my initial experience with the first Tomb Raider back in the 90's was playing a demo for mere minutes, walking into an icey cavern, and dying to wolves with no clue what I was doing or how to control Lara...

Re: Games Beaten 2019

59. Death Stranding (PS4) https://i.imgur.com/SSsDKRH.jpg Finished up Death Stranding last night. Clocked in 48 hours on this one. And I can happily report I pretty much loved all of it. AMA, otherwise I'll just ramble on a bit here. First off, the game is obviously more in the Peace Walker + era wh...

Re: Games you wouldn’t / couldn't beat 2019

Adventures of Lolo 2 - seems awesome, though I jumped into it immediately after beating the first game. Don't do that, or you'll get burned out like I did. Difficulty picks up after the first and was pretty high. I'll check this one out again someday. DreadOut - Indonesian Fatal Frame-esque thing.....

Re: The Outer Worlds, The Thread

I might finally cave on the EGS for this game, since it looks and sounds so incredible. Been a HUGE fan of everything modern Obsidian, though I'm not big on some of the isometric stuff they did more recently, so I'm glad they're back to this format. And very happy it seems like this game blew up and...

Re: Rate the series - Mega Man

Wily Wars is pure torture to me. Everything about it is just so insanely wrong.

I do wish Capcom would have made some kind of X styled Mega Man from the ground up on Genesis though. At least Konami gave us Bloodlines and Hard Corps.

Even X7-X8 have great music despite me not liking the games. Time to get your ears examined.

Legends 1-2 are incredible.

Re: Rate the series - Mega Man

Friendly reminder of these underrated gems: https://i.imgur.com/ieCe8As.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KwZ3glp.jpg I think it gets harder for me to rank the rest of the main line series, other than Mega Man X1 is another one of my top favorites. Although on the easy side compared to its sequels and I hate ...

Do they have a real account system yet?

Re: Switch Discussion Thread

There's about a billion games on the Switch now. Just about all the indie hits, plenty of ports across last and current gen, more cool looking Sega Ages related releases and dozens of NEOGEO games. Old school fans can get a lot of mileage out of it for sure.
