+1 for Boyward

My first trade in a long time and it was as smooth as can be!

Re: Games Beaten 2012

Well, I just finished Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. The story was fantastic! It really makes me sad that this didn't sell as well as Capcom wanted. It would be great to see more games like this.

Re: (Good) Visual Novels for The DS

I remember trace memory being very disappointing. Finished the game in two days and returned it (coming from the guy who NEVER trades in games). I don't find this genre to be very replayable (you already know the plot), and most of the puzzles were not very memorable. I actually think this game kin...

Re: (Good) Visual Novels for The DS

I'm also a big fan of puzzles, but a strong story gives the puzzle a sense of urgency and a reason to be solved beyond the obvious.

Re: (Good) Visual Novels for The DS

I only just completed 999 and I'm nearly half-way through with Ghost Trick. The next game on my list is Hotel Dusk. From there, I'll probably pick up Time Hollow, Lux-Pain, and Cape West. Trace Memory is also one I've been eyeing. (not sure which of the 4 to buy next). Between all of those (plus the...

(Good) Visual Novels for The DS

I just finished playing 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors and I'm itching for some more storyheavy gameplay. I already have Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Hotel Dusk Room 215. What other games can be considered a gem of the genre for the DS? For those that played the game, I cosplayed the 9th man at Ani...

Re: Games Beaten 2012

I've missed this place. I just completed the Visual Novel/Escape The Room game 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors . This includes all six of the endings. I have to say, the that one was a doozy. The story was intricate, all the characters relatively well developed, and the puzzles fun. There really wasn't an...

Kicking And Screaming:

I hate Will Ferrell movies. No exceptions here. Though I did crack a smile at the Tigers emerging from the meat truck.
