Everything was is better than expected shape and packed extremely well. Now I am only a few games away from having my childhood NES collection!

Re: [GUIDE/INFO] for Flash Carts, Retrode, repros, and more!
Now if we could get Panzer Dragoon Saga working on Psudeo Saturn.... PDS does work on a Pseudo Saturn cart. I fell like the compatibility list can be a little confusing of the Pseudo Saturn website. Most of the games listed in red can be fixed by running the patch utility and some are in red just b...

Re: Good S Video Cable for SNES/N64/Gamecube?
Yeah the price has steered me away from an NES RGB mod for sometime as well. In response to your original question, the Nintendo brand cables are probably your best bet, but there are other options. Custom hand made cables from this guy out of Poland with high quality shielding and no composite end ...

Re: Best Way to Play Mario Classics Legit, Cheap, w/ Saves
I would agree on softmodding. Instead of using Snes9x I would create, or download an All-Stars + World Virtual Console Wad and install that. I find Snes9x for Wii has a few frames input lag. Nothing that would bother you when playing an RPG or something, but its pretty awful for platformers. Also th...

Re: Early Intel iMac - Repair it or mod it?
Damn Samson, I didn't notice you updated the first post to make this the general Mac thread. The thread I made in the Personal Computers section was directly inspired by this thread, so I guess we can just let the one I made die. Back to the one you just repaired, how is it doing on temperature? I h...

The Mac Thread
So.....I can't help but notice you guys don't have this. This is a retro site right? Lets hop into the obscure and talk about a platform that most people don't! I was surprised to search on youtube and not find a dedicated channel to the "glory days" of Mac gaming. When I think of Mac gami...

Out now! That happened fast!
I don't really have time to try it right now, but it looks like a fantastic rom hack.

Re: Am I the only one that uses the Gamecube GB Player?
I like the Gameboy Player for the instant plug in of carts. The Emulator option looks great too, for the reviewed improved quality and for anyone who cannot locate the GB Player hardware. No emulation is happening with GBI. You still require the GBP hardware itself and legit carts. Or flashcarts......

Re: What Retrogaming topics did you/do you find intimidating
What items in the world of retrogaming were most intimidating to you a while back before you dug in? Video signals and quality. I always knew the basics like component is better than S-video, S-video is better than composite etc. and I knew that my retro consoles looked better on a CRT, but I didn'...
