Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
That is good news that regulations are set, but I'm sure the government there won't be reversing what was already done, or even imposing taxes on airbnb/vacant properties, so that problem is still there. It's just not made worse.

Good thing NYC doesn't have a big airbnb scene.

Re: Christmas 2023
Worked the 25th and the 26th, with an outbreak starting Christmas Eve. It hit the staff to the point that I, a dishwasher, was cooking the lunch meal from scratch and being the sole line cook. A guy with no experience and barely above the hourly minimum wage doing something that school graduates tha...

Re: Movies Talk! Talkin' about movies!
The big example is that the new Godzilla movie only spent a fraction of their budget to make a film with much more impressive CGI. Honestly, I'd call the Marvel films embezzlement. The twitter thread that got viral was one of the characters just having a conversation in a room... it was in green scr...

Re: Movies Talk! Talkin' about movies!
Technically it's not the CGI that's bad. It's that Disney uses as much green screen as possible for CGI to make a quick buck with a short filming time, and make so many deadlines and short notice demands to those CGI companies that are impossible to the point that no respected company wants to work ...

How do you feel about nostalgic throwback references? They would both be the same to me.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Josie and the Pussycats was a huge surprise. I have no idea why it's marketed towards kids when it came out. It's honestly closer to fight club and they live with how the plots are, just girl power instead. Fantastic satire that is so unsubtle that combining that with its absurdist nature complement...

Re: Ranking the Zelda Series
Very impressive, PH! My ranking would certainly differ from yours, but it would not be as comprehensive since I have not played through as many games in the series. (I have about eight more on my list.) My initial impression is that I am surprised to see Spirit Tracks so high and Tri-Force Heroes s...

Ranking the Zelda Series
I was gonna make this into a VERY LONG video, but upon changing hobbies, I'm ditching that project. I don't want it to be for nothing so I'll post my ranking here and a few other places. I'm curious to see this forum's rankings as well as the people here tend to have more in-depth knowledge, and mos...
