Re: Bootsy Beats

Although he is very knowledgeable and I like that when someone is doing a walk through, I have to admit I can't stand his voice.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Classic Nerd

The Classic Nerd reviews Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. A classic game that helped launch the "Bit Wars" but was the game ever any good or was Sega's marketing team too strong to ignore?

Re: OP Gamers (terrible gaming show)

Dear lord, that lame ass GTA5 dating testimonial intro is the worst thing I've seen of all 2015. Rebecca Black could come back with a new song called "Sunday" with the hook, "Gotta pray on Sunday" and it wouldn't be as lame as that SNL skit wannabe. If that is any inclination of ...

Legacy of Kian: Soul Reaver (PC Port)

The Classic Nerd takes a look at one seriously underrated classic from the past. Soul Reaver used to be one of my favorite Dreamcast video games, but how well did the game age?

Re: How Do YOU Capture Retro Game Footage?

I apologize if this was answered, but has anyone tried using something like the Elgato Analog Capture card? It's used mainly for plugging into VCR's and recording the footage from the VHS to your PC/Mac. I can't get much info on the device other than unboxing videos. My current setup requires conver...

Re: A Story Of Graphics In Videogames

I'm going to agree with Sheado. The list isn't bad, but it really is only effective if you lived during the time the game was released. Also, some people couldn't go to arcades or didn't have access to one so home consoles were their only option and vice versa. Watching this was kind of like watchin...

Re: Video games and philosophy

I don't seek out games based on philosophical principles. The entire Bioshock series has followed some very serious philosophy driven ideas and morals and there isn't a game in that series that I didn't enjoy playing and uncovering the story of the game while playing. Some good games that dive into ...

Re: BossKnight Films Thread

Hello everyone! I forgot to add on a link to playlists so you could watch multiple videos of a game if you so wished. If you do not wish, then ignore this next bit. - Pokemon Yellow Version (Game Boy) - Batman: The Video Game (NES) - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Mega Drive/Genesis) Alright, now that the fl...

Re: Super Nintendo Problem - Please Help.

Would further cleaning to the cartridge and slot be nessiary? Ziggy587 made a really good reply to this, I just wanted to say that if you clean the connectors and then try to get the game to play and it doesn't work then get out the rubbing alcohol and try, try again. I bought a filthy SMB3 cart fr...
