I think games like this are different
I think people paying $190 for Radient Silvergun are the type of people that NEED to have the actual game and box anyway. If they really just wanted to only play it they'd just mod a system and burn the game, especially now that it's almost a decade old. I think it's great that they're allowing peop...

Ds
DS is the first new console I've purchased since Dreamcast, unless you count buying a Gamecube for Zelda and Metroid then selling it right after playing them. I love DS's game library. The only game I really want from PSP is the Castlevania X remake and original cut from PC Engine. Konami fought emu...

He displayed the best two games for SMS and the biggest reasons that you'd need a SMS to experience the best of 8-bit.

buying or selling?
If the controllers are the second version (black versions of the japanese pad) or the analog pads, I'd say that's almost a perfect starter kit for gaming on the Saturn at a reasonable price. If you want to mod it you might want to make sure it's the console with the round buttons, not oval shaped. I...

morbid but true
very morbid, but the first generation of video game fans are now dying, some just because they're old. If you were in your twenties/thirties when pong hit, you're a senior citizen or at least pushing it. I saw a guy the other day who died and his wife eBayed his near complete transformers collection...

pds iso quality
There are a few different ISOs of PDS floating around of various quality.
I burned one that had the text all glitched like "P@&z#r Dr#g&%n S#g!". I found a second one and it worked fine using the same burning method and system/chip.

Saturn PC/Mac pad
I'm always raving about the official Sega Saturn USB pad for PC/Mac. If you can track one down it is worth it and the only pad you'll ever need. It's perfect for NES, SNES, PC Engine, SMS, Genesis and about anything else I've ever tried for it. The greatest D-pad of all time, a start button, 6 aweso...

Versus Books
Versus Books was putting out some quality stuff back then, are they still around? It seems like too often the companies that put quality first don't make it. I had their Street Fighter Alpha 2 strategy guide an sold it for $50 on eBay a few years ago. Loaded with amazing art. It seemed like a book p...

next gen
Next Gen was one of the only publications to realize that the last US releases for Sega Saturn pretty much destroyed what was coming out on PS1 late in it's life (Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III, Burning Rangers). I remember reading their PDS review and laughing at how EGM and Gamepro basical...
