Literally 100 percent complete on Fallout 3. Took over 300 hours, but I did it. I did all main quests, side quests, unmarked quests, found all unique items, and discovered all locations without the explorer perk. That includes all DLC by the way.

Fallout 3 for single player, Halo 3 for multiplayer. Fallout 3, damn, I have played through multiple 100 percent completion games and have logged more than 1000 hours. It just never gets old, the atmosphere is the best in any game ever.

For a home console I would choose the N64. It is super sturdy, has its fair share of expansions (which I love about a console), and there are so many awesome editions and colors. Don't worry, this is just launch headaches. OS is clearly not very good, tons of people are criticizing it so Nintendo will make many improvements over the next few years just like Microsoft did with 360.
