Re: Insurance on your video game collection - Anyone doing t

Can you ballpark what "replacement cost" insurance on something like that would add to the home insurance premium? How much an item or collection costs to schedule will depend on the item and on the company. My wife's wedding ring is insured for $2100 and we pay $22 a year to have it sche...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Smiled: Tomorrow is my last day at my current job in insurance claims. I got an awesome new job that pays more and uses both of my majors from college. Ticked: I really hoped I would be able to coast through today but I've had four people calling me today wanting more money for things I settled mont...

Re: Insurance on your video game collection - Anyone doing t

I'm not going to lie, part of my motivation for posting pics of my collection is for insurance purposes as well as sharing my room and collection. I didn't know I would have to have separate insurance though to cover it... I am thinking my game collection is in the 15-20k range now, and it would be...

Re: Insurance on your video game collection - Anyone doing t

I've been working in insurance claims for the past couple years (tomorrow is my last day, praise the Lord). Anyhow, how things should be insured and how they will be covered depends very much on the policy and the company. At my company, for example, having replacement cost coverage versus actual ca...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"

My younger brother also had an awesome haul from games people didn't want. Someone in our fraternity found some Gamecube games in the basement and gave them to my brother because he was "the only one in the house who played this type of stuff." Included were Pikmin 2, Zelda Twilight Prince...

Stark, I found this for you so you could get a good idea of what government spending looks like. Sorry about the size. http://www.truthfulpolitics.com/images/u-s-federal-government-spending-by-category-program-2011.jpg The big issue here isn't waste, too much pay for employees, or even entire depart...

Re: Best controller for Power Stone?

I have the PSP version. It's pretty good but the load times are very long. They added some new characters and items to the first game. Power Stone 2 sucks, so I don't bother with that one. Yeah I'm really only interested in the first game anyway. I used to own both and play them against my brother ...

Re: Best controller for Power Stone?

Anyone try playing it on PSP? I've been considering picking up the compilation.
