Not only is SNK releasing an enhanced version of The King of Fighters ‘94 on the PS2, but they are also offering a Neo-Geo CD-like controller to accompany it. As far as I can tell, you must buy the game in order to get your hands on it from a retail store.

As mentioned in 1UP, SNK’s Metal Slug series is coming to the 3D world via the PS2. Personally, I don’t think this is looking good.
